Change United States Asylum Laws in 2019

Change United States Asylum Laws in 2019

The Issue

Problem
Non United States (U.S.) Immigrants currently can illegally enter the United States, by Land, Air or Sea, and present themselves to a United States Government Official (Customs and Border Protection or Immigration and Citizenship or Homeland Security Investigations) and request Asylum due to "Credible Fear" in their Native Country and, they are automatically granted "Limited Asylum" IN THE U.S. until their case is heard/adjudicated by a U.S. Immigration Court or Official. Problem is, the vast majority of times, these individuals disappear into the U.S. and NEVER show up for their hearing or Case Status Update meeting!  NO, they are ALL NOT held in ICE or DRO Custody!

Solution
Change the Asylum Laws that would require these Credible Fear Asylum seekers, from ALL Nations, to apply for Asylum in a Non-Threatening Cooperating Third Nation at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate there and, that their completed and properly submitted Asylum petition would automatically allow them temporary resident status in this Cooperating Third Nation from which they applied.

Personal story
Served over 20 years with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and personally observed and processed Asylum applicants from many different nations, knowing full well that the vast majority of these individuals were abusing the U.S. Immigration Laws covering Asylum.  The daily cost to U.S. Taxpayers is astounding in the detention of a few and processing of all these individuals, with obviously bogus claims, knowing that over 80% of which will just disappear into our Nation - never to be seen again.
