We are adamantly opposed to the increase of oil wells and underground pipelines in San Luis Obispo County. This petition includes offshore drilling into nearby waters, which included protected areas. Doing so puts our coastal communities, marine wildlife, public health and the climate at risk. We need to use better options that are available for the economy and our environment. Using renewable energy like wind & solar that are more affordable, accessible and more necessary. Putting people's life and land at risk is not worth increasing the oil/gas production in San Luis Obispo County.
