Since the proposed expansion and request to drill more wells at the Price Canyon Oil Field in San Luis Obispo County, we have seen dozen of protests, demonstration and town hall meetings. The effort has been halted by the EPA pending an outcome on the next move and it has taken ordinarily people to do online campaigns, petition drives, makes videos, talk to the media, reach out to others leaders in California for support and guidance and has lead people to tell their stories and have their voices heard. The question of Super PAC having an edge on this outcome is always a possibility. We are aware of the "evil twin" of these types of campaigns and how they are not accountable to voters the ways the candidates are. When you don't know who is funding many of the Super PAC's, candidates can even raise money under certain conditions for supportive Super PAC's without violating the FEC's technical coordination rules. And thanks to clever campaign finance lawyers who can use an affiliated nonprofit 501(c)(4) group, we may never know the identity of some donors. Think about it folks, has anyone locally in office suddenly becomes part of a nonprofit group for advertisement purposes or other ways and has their face in the news to funnel money to a Super PAC for the next election. Beware of that person motives. Because they were voted in office to drive change for the better not decline it. The longer they are in office the chances of a positive outcome is mute. In San Luis Obispo County, the biggest tax payer is Diablo Canyon Power Plant. They will close down in 2025 and the County is looking for someone to replace that lost income to the County. The next big ticket donor is "BIG OIL". The question is how far will the County officials go to secure that place in history. I Personality, am not even that concerned about Super PAC negative advertising, which can serve to educate the public and mobilize some voters to become more politically engaged. But I am concerned that Super PAC spending will influence the outcome of the constituents races in San Luis Obispo County. And I am greatly concerned that when Election Day is over and the public will stop hearing about Super PAC's, contributions to these groups. The million dollar question is how to match dollar for dollar in this County against a Super PAC candidate before then. We need to find out prior to the election who is involved with a Super PAC election. Super PAC's are troublesome for a number of reasons, however they should look out and move over for the citizens working with Bitcoin and a thousand to million people that are willing to contribute $1.00 to the Bitcoin account, because we will change the election outcome and eloquently we are worth more than a millionaire, any day. Grassroots leaders lets get behind the movement to protect our beautiful San Luis Obispo County Communities. I hope that we can make who is currently elected accountable and what they are accountable for to the citizens of the community they serve not only for the corporate America. First of all, we need to start removing some of the steps that current are in place to allow manipulation of Super PAC's. We need someone that is in touch with some cities of this County about numerous issues, one of them is the Oil Companies spills, cracks and leaks and other violations of non - compliance that have been neglected for way to long and we need someone who is ethical and accountable to undertake a serious effort to fix leadership issues in City Hall. I have seen and talked to people that are dealing with life and death issues everyday in this County and their struggles are not being acknowledged, only maneuvering for a fake splintering of falsehoods spreading widely online for their false credit. With nothing to come out of it, but a pat on someones back for portraying a malicious deception. Wake up folks and smell the coffee and make sure your drinking water that is purified and safe. Super PAC's will soon be banned just like fracking.
