The community of San Luis Obispo County has become my safe haven again, after a extended time in the SF/SJ Bay area. I started my journey on this cause after seeing people lives being turned upside down from Superfund and Brownfield sites in the Bay area and the unjustly deaths of good people ( many fireman) by County and Oil/Gas Companies. I never thought I would encounter the same devastation in this County as well, but here I'm again facing the madness once more. Over the last (5) months, I set out on my own again. So that others and I would have a fair chance to receive justice by the laws governing us. I figure seemingly adapting for a change in the 5 cities area, San Luis Obispo, Nipomo and San Miguel & asking for a call of action at a much faster rate, then I have heard from the locals in San Luis Obispo County about these issues in my Petition. Therefore accepting that we must keep moving forward in protecting our health, water and asset's with the Environment Justice Laws, Civil and Criminal Laws, Natural Resources Laws & Constitution Laws in the many forms that applies to these actions. In addition, how to fight Eminent Domain with a Property Rights Advocate or Attorney with appeals or boost your homes fair market value. Remember the U.S. Constitution guarantees that private property can't be taken away for public use without compensation. To start with the citizens of this County must start getting vital information they need, obtain resources at a quicker rate and self acceptances that they can move forward with their lives in a calm and just way. And more important prepare themselves that they are not alone with their many health concerns and conditions that stem from the oil spills, cracks, and leaks. Another major concern was that our city water and well water or land is not poisoned and if it is what do we do about it and if you have to sell your property (who is going to buy it with all the concerns that are presently raised above) I felt it was very important and greatly expressed that the citizens of this County will no longer feel invisible from these tragic events that are laid before them from the Oil and Gas Companies & the County representatives, as individuals or a group. People must understand they are not alone, there are people that have been in your shoes and can stare you in the right direction. I can match you up with them. The citizens that signed this petition and beyond remember the call to action process does not have to be long and painful. It is better to be short, brief and to the point. And with an Advocate or Attorney, is your best bet. You must stand up and tell your truth and not be silenced anymore. That notion is outdated. As you go further into this fight seek advice on strategies and perspectives. It is important to no longer live in the incredible journey of the unpredictable and fear. Stay plugged into the Environment Laws and other laws that apply to you and whom you vote into office to represent you. Then transition into your own legal advocate it is an important tool to have in your back pocket and lead others to follow in your footsteps. There is power in numbers. I urge you to pursue and change numerous policy initiatives to support your families, others in your community and businesses alike across the spectrum throughout your journey. I look forward for the success it may bring you and your community & celebrate your choices and options down this road. Other States and Cities have Ban Fracking and I believe you have a good fighting chance. I will always believe that the struggles, hope and victories in this beautiful county is sunshine mixed with a little hurricane, which is a good thing. I have loved the thrive of the challenge. If this leads me to other cities or states for the same challenge. I'm ready and able.
