The County is undertaking the Pipeline Project in Nipomo City Park and emailing residents about the timeline, when they have been told that the residents have rejected this pipeline project for 3 years. Yet, the County keeps on shoving it down the throats of Nipomo residents, it is going to happen regardless of what they want or do. I hereby give public notice that the public is on board and wants to inform Sentinel Peak Resources that Nipomo City Park is NOT for rent and that the County should not benefit from huge royalties at the risk of businesses and local residents lives and livelihood. This hijacking of a community is unlawful and morally wrong in so many ways. If allowed to go forward the County and Oil/ Gas Companies will have lawsuites to follow, that will be certain. The silent theft of our public land from Oil and Gas Companies that want to hoard our land must stop. Most people that live in the path of this Pipelight Project are frantically trying to sell their homes and land. I asked myself... Why don't we hear about that on the news on a daily bases and out of the mouths of the Mayor and City Council Members that people are scared and are forced to move because of Greedy Oil and Gas Companies & elected County and City Members. Councillors are obliged by law to provide up to date on details of anything that may give rise to a conflict of interest, including any gifts or hospitality they receive. It's time to end these secret close - door meetings and strike a lawsuit on those who would abuse the public's trust. The time is now San Luis Obispo County Residents to speak up and take back your homes, land and businesses, before its to late.
