There are NO alarms associated with these industrial sites. There is NO continues air monitoring, there is NO emergency plans, really; established if something were to happen. If there is a release it can become an explosion. Lost of life and property will be the outcome. It can become a nightmare, every day that you wake up to this new reality. I hope people listen to me, believe me it's coming and take my advice to fight back now. You think the lease construction will be done in 1 or 5 years suddenly it turns into eternal lease, its forever. There is no going back, it quickly becomes a nightmare off the charts for even the strongest to survive. And if you complaint you will be told you're a fear monger. Look up Southwest Pennsylvania Environmental Health Project that tracks fracking related health registry for people affected by fracking and underground pipeline projects. When you find yourself in the 2-5 mile kill zone of a fracking or underground pipeline site you will smell the pollution on a whole new level then you have not every before and see the smoke from the oil. And taste or smell the wastewater sites that go to the city water from trying to kill the poison chemicals with chlorine gas, instead of chlorine liquid or ultraviolet treatment. There is NO federal laws that require a phaseout. In fact a 2006, a bill signed by President Georgia Bush that requires tighter security for chemicals plants contain loopholes that exempt wastewater treatment and drinking water plants. Other hazards gas to neutralize chlorine in wastewater is sulfur dioxide before the water is sent to the lakes, stream, and ocean, so it doesn't harm wildlife. Yet it harms human health when it is breath in. Beware of these health problems listed below. 1. Chemical Burns to your eyes 2. Blood in nose 3. Coughing/wheezing/asthma 4. Ears hurt 5. Sore throat 6. Headaches 7. Dizziness 8. Throwing up 9. Stomach pains 10. Lost of smell ( the worse, because you think it is gone, it's not) 11. Your doctor will tell that you are being poisoned, yet by law your MD can't tell you exactly what it is. Or else your MD can be sued from the oil/gas company and have their licenses taken away from them, if they tell you what is poisoning you. 13. The trade secret of the oil /gas companies ingredients is more important than your life. The bottom line the Oil/Gas companies will convince you that you will be a millionaire if you lease to them your backyard but that is not true. You will get sick, lose your property value, lose your home and lose your mind. Don't let them trick you into a false promise. Fight back now and say not in my neighborhood or city.
