Thank you supporting this petition. Since the last update, the Friends of Fr. Isaac Mary Relyea Facebook page posted our petition, not once, but twice. Thank you to both Church Militant and Friends of Fr. Isaac Mary Relyea. We are now up to 643 signatures. We haven't fared as well with getting the attention of Catholic media. Most emails have been totally ignored. Perhaps a better approach would be to post information on various Catholic forums (where appropriate). Also, if you haven't shared the petition with friends via email or Facebook, etc., please consider doing so. Finally, we started up a companion petition for the issuance of a postage stamp honoring Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. This one should be easier to share since most Catholics shouldn't object to it. I am hopeful that the second petition will spread more easily than the first. The stamp would also support the concept of intercessory prayer,, with the message to Mary, "Pray for us." Assuming we get a lot of signatures for the petition (big assumption) we can then contact the signers of that petition and encourage them to support the petition regarding the New American Bible (cross-pollination).
