I want to thank each of you for signing our petition

I don't want to be a pain with all kinds of updates, but I wanted to thank each and every one of you for doing your part to fix what I believe to be an injustice. As I've stated, I served aboard an Boomer, but I recognize the dangers we all encountered every minute of every day. I must ask you to please share this petition with everyone you know, please ask them to sign and just as important, ask them to share it. I am in the process of writing members of Congress and pointing them to this petition. I have sent letters to The Veterans Affairs Committee, The Chairman of the Veterans Affairs Committee, The Speaker of the House and several Congressional Representatives who are veterans. Help me to change the requirements and get our Submarine Brothers into the VFW. Do not mistake this petition to think I hold an anger toward the VFW, I am a member and I know the VFW and American Legion fight and protect the rights of veterans everywhere. This petition is aimed at Congress who needs to change the VFW's Charter. Again, Thank you All! Regards, George Finn
