Human Rights for Atheists, Agnostics and Secularists is urgently calling upon world leaders and the United Nations to pressure Pakistan into sparing the life of Asia Bibi, a mother of five who was convicted of blasphemy in 2009. The date of Asia’s final appeal has been set and should her counsel fail on this final appeal, this innocent mother of five, who has been wrongfully imprisoned on death row and separated from her children for over half a decade, will be heinously hung from the neck in a horrendous and inhumane act of state-sanctioned religious barbarism. It is up to every single citizen of the world to come to Asia’s aid and pressure their own governments and leaders into supporting this urgent cause. Write letters, post on social media, urgently raise awareness of Asia’s heartbreaking plight as a persecuted religious minority in Pakistan.
