Despite having a long history of marijuana use in the country, in 1973 AD, due to the War on Drugs raged by former US President Richard Nixon, the Nepal was coerced to criminalize cannabis overnight. Almost half a century later, the Legalize Cannabis movement has taken over social media and the internet, in the streets of Kathmandu and all over the world.
