Hi everyone,

We are now less than 100 supporting signatures away from our initial goal of 'climate hero' and the team is so thankful for all your support. To everyone who chipped in to promote the petition, to the lecturers that shared the petition with their students, to the students that shared with their friends, we could not thank you enough.

We have met almost all the requirements to achieve the next level ‘Climate Champion,’ however, this level requires 5000 signatures. All we need is for everyone who signed this petition to recruit one more person to sign. If we meet the requirements of ‘Climate Champion’ we will receive a special mention at the UN 16th Conference of Youth and a campaign highlight post on official social media channels.

So, if you can, please share! Email the link to your friends, share it on your Facebook, send it to your local community groups, anything helps to get the word out there!

Finally, if you would like to learn more about the project, we will also be holding 2 informative webinars on Friday the 27th of August, with guest speakers (academics and community members), and the project chair and executive officer to speak about the statement.
