The Turkish forces in control of the Alouk water situation in Syria, which is the principal source of water in the Syrian province of Al Hasakah. The Turkish government is preventing the water from reaching the population of  Al Hasakah. Help us pressure Turkey to open the station again.

United Nations General  Assembly approved Resolution 64/292 officially recognizes the human rights to water...Water and water facilities must not be used for military or political gains. More than a million people in Al Hasakah don't have access to water, or they are buying water at very extortionate prices.

We ask the international community to take action to stop this brutality against the people who live in Al Hasakah.
