I am an employee at DENSO Maryville, a multibillion-dollar business. Like many of my colleagues, I feel that we are not being paid what we are worth. We work hard every day to contribute to the success of this company, yet our voices are often unheard and our rights overlooked.

DENSO is a global automotive supplier with over 170,000 employees worldwide. In 2020 alone, it reported revenues exceeding $41 billion (source: DENSO Global Annual Report). Despite these enormous profits, many workers like myself at the Maryville plant in Tennessee struggle to make ends meet on the wages we receive.

Furthermore, decisions affecting our working conditions and benefits seem to be made unilaterally by the company without considering our input or well-being. This imbalance of power is unfair and unsustainable.

We believe that unionizing will provide us with a platform to negotiate fair wages commensurate with our skills and efforts. It will also give us a say in decisions that directly affect us as employees.
