Our school district recently updated its internet blocks to block students and teachers from using Spotify. 

Spotify is a major part of our lives as it allows students to focus on their work with music. Music has been shown to allow the brain to absorb information better, and these new blocks make studying and absorbing information much harder. The thing with our school district's management on the devices and school accounts keeps the blocks on even when the school-managed computer isn't connected to the school's internet. It happens at home too, or anywhere with an internet connection. This means that we cannot listen to our music and study easier.

If things stay the same, students' test scores may drop, classes will be harder to stay focused on, and teachers will not even be able to play music for their students in classes during study time or work periods. If this were to change, students would be able to perform better again.

We need this to change as soon as possible, because if it isn't changed soon, our overall performance and mental health may decline. And without good mental health, students will be unable to focus on school.
