Unblock Animal Jam in Schools for Educational Purposes

Unblock Animal Jam in Schools for Educational Purposes

The Issue

As a resident of St. Cloud, FL, I have personally experienced the educational benefits of playing Animal Jam. This game, created in collaboration with National Geographic, is not only fun for all ages but also serves as an effective tool to educate players about wildlife.

Despite its educational value, Animal Jam remains blocked in our schools. This prevents students from accessing a valuable resource that can supplement their learning about animals and their habitats. According to the National Wildlife Federation, children who are exposed to nature and wildlife through interactive mediums like games show increased interest and knowledge about these subjects (National Wildlife Federation).

Animal Jam's content aligns with many of our school curriculum objectives related to environmental education. By blocking this game in schools, we are missing out on an opportunity to make learning more engaging and enjoyable for our students.

We urge the school authorities in St. Cloud, to reconsider their stance on this issue and unblock Animal Jam so that it can be used as an educational tool within classrooms. Sign this petition if you believe that education should be fun and interactive!
