Recently, Iesha Worthen (social media influencer) was banned on TikTok (again for the 5th time) for a few spectated reasons. She reported that she was banned for being due to age, however she’s 28. Another reason, which is more believable, is due to the amount of hate that she received on a daily basis on the TikTok platform.

Iesha has a different ability resulting in an unclear speech that has caused her to be subjected to cyberbullying for a substantial amount of time. Despite her stating that she doesn’t like to be called disabled or “slow,” people continued making the comments against her wishes.

Comments ranged from accusing her of being pregnant, calling her slow, treating her like a child asking if she asked her parents’ permission to do activities, attempting to make her get “speech therapy,” picking on her eyes (one of them is offset), purposefully misspelling her name (Eyesha, Iesher, Usher), telling her she needs a job, calling her “broke,” insisting that she needs a boyfriend, ridiculing her cleaning skills, describing the food she worked hard to cook as disgusting, & critiquing her appearance from her clothing to her hair to her feet. 

Her biggest excitement was getting her iPhone 14 Pro Max, & she was bullied for her excitement by comments saying, “you got that phone now you can apply for a job.”

These type of people are the bullies that caused her to get banned.

After all this, she never let her different ability dictate her life. She continues to live a fulfilling life that she shared with her fans regularly. She is a sweet & loving young woman with a big personality. She entertains her fans & is always guaranteed to give us a laugh when we need one.

While I understand that her content is not for everyone, the option to just SCROLL or BLOCK is available. BANNING her & SUSPENDING her account is just downright ridiculous. She has not done anything to deserve this kind of harassment or “punishment.” If there are videos that appears that has an “attitude,” it is in RESPONSE to the hateful comments of bullies that are supposed to be “monitored” by COMMUNITY GUIDELINES—YET, they ban & suspend the VICTIM of the attacks.

Iesha organically grew her TikTok page to 158.5k followers & 4.9 million likes. TikTok is NOT the same without her, & we NEED her back WITHOUT her having to start a new account! She has worked hard to build her reputation, brand, & following just for bullies on the app to snatch it from her WITHOUT REASON!
