Aggiornamento sull'installazione di una croce di 18 metri sul Monte Baldo
Carissime sostenitrici, carissimi sostenitori,
sono passati tre mesi da quando è stata lanciata questa petizione. Grazie al vostro preziosissimo sostegno la questione della croce di 18 metri sul Monte Baldo ha avuto ampio risalto su numerosi mezzi di informazione. Si è fatta sentire con forza anche la voce di associazioni ambientaliste e di consiglieri provinciali e regionali del Veneto e del Trentino, tanto che la vicenda è già stata discussa anche al Consiglio Regionale Veneto. Ciò nonostante, l’Amministrazione di Malcesine non desiste dal suo intento di collocare la croce sul Monte Baldo, giardino botanico d’Europa.
Sono stati tuttavia raggiunti primi importantissimi risultati, quali per esempio la costituzione del Comitato apartitico di cittadine e cittadini “Amiche e amici del Baldo” per difendere e preservare l’ecosistema del Monte Baldo, che sta lavorando anche per richiedere un referendum comunale in merito all’installazione della croce.
Fondamentale è l’apporto dell’associazione italiana “Mountain Wilderness” che, appoggiata anche da altre associazioni ambientaliste, ha presentato un ricorso straordinario al Capo dello Stato Mattarella per tentare di bloccare l’installazione della croce sul Baldo.
Il neo comitato “Amiche e amici del Baldo” sta attualmente raccogliendo fondi per finanziare il ricorso straordinario al Capo dello Stato. Update zur Installation eines 18 Meter hohen Kreuzes auf dem Monte Baldo
Liebe Unterstützer*innen,
drei Monate sind vergangen, seit diese Petition gestartet wurde. Dank eurer unschätzbaren Unterstützung wurde das Thema des 18 Meter hohen Kreuzes auf dem Monte Baldo in den Medien breit behandelt. Umweltverbände und Provinz- und Regionalräten aus Venetien und Trentino haben ihre Stimme erhoben, so sehr, dass die Angelegenheit auch im Regionalrat von Venetien diskutiert wurde. Dennoch gibt die Verwaltung von Malcesine ihre Absicht nicht auf, das Kreuz auf dem Monte Baldo, dem botanischen Garten Europas, aufzustellen.
Es wurden jedoch erste wichtige Ergebnisse erzielt, wie z.B. die Gründung des überparteilichen Bürgerkomitees "Amiche e Amici del Monte Baldo" (Freund*innen des Baldo) zur Bewahrung des Ökosystems des Monte Baldo, das auch daran arbeitet, ein Referendum über die Aufstellung des Kreuzes zu beantragen.
Von grundlegender Bedeutung ist der Beitrag des italienischen Verbandes „Mountain Wilderness“, der mit Unterstützung anderer Umweltverbände eine außerordentliche Beschwerde an den Staatspräsidenten Mattarella gerichtet hat, um die Aufstellung des Kreuzes auf dem Monte Baldo zu verhindern.
Das neue Komitee "Amiche e amici del Baldo" sammelt derzeit Spenden, um die Beschwerde zu finanzieren. Update on the installation of an 18-metre cross on Monte Baldo
Dear supporters,
three months have passed since this petition was launched. Thanks to your invaluable support, the issue of the 18 metre cross on Monte Baldo has been widely reported in the media. Environmental associations and provincial and regional councillors from the Veneto and Trentino regions have also made their voices heard, so much so that the matter has also been discussed at the Veneto Regional Council. Despite this, the Malcesine administration has not given up on its plan to place the cross on Monte Baldo, Europe's botanical garden.
However, the first very important results have been achieved, such as the setting up of the non-partisan committee of citizens 'Amiche e amici del Baldo“ (Friends of Mount Baldo) to defend and preserve the ecosystem of Mount Baldo, which is also working to request a municipal referendum on the installation of the cross.
The contribution of the Italian „Mountain Wilderness“ association, which is also supported by other environmental associations, has made an extraordinary appeal to the Head of State, Mattarella, in an attempt to block the installation of the cross on Mount Baldo.
