El problema
¡Un Emoji feminista es necesario!
En un momento en el que nuestra comunicación se basa en gran medida en lo que expresamos a través de un teclado (de móvil u ordenador) consideramos que la lucha más importante y transversal de todas nuestras sociedades, el feminismo (la igualdad en derechos entre hombres y mujeres), debe tener su propio EMOJI.
En estos momentos, utilizando emojis, se puede hacer referencia a otros movimientos sociales o reivindicaciones a través de emojis: bandera del orgullo gay, símbolo de la paz bandera transgénero, símbolo a favor del reciclaje, distintas religiones o creencias… ¡Y todo ello nos encanta! Pero el símbolo que representa una lucha que nos atañe a todas, porque busca la igualdad, no aparece por ningún lado.
Hoy en día, para hacer referencia a algo tan necesario, sólo contamos como alternativa con el “corazón morado”.
¡Eso tiene que cambiar cuanto antes!
Y por eso os pedimos que aportéis vuestro granito firmando esta petición y haciéndola llegar a todas las personas de vuestro círculo social que consideran que el feminismo debe tener un hueco en los símbolos que aparecen en nuestros móviles.
Por eso hacemos un llamamiento al Consorcio Unicode, encargado del estándar de codificación de caracteres para emoticones/emojis a nivel mundial, para que considere incluir el símbolo de la lucha feminista entre sus opciones para futuras actualizaciones.

A Feminist emoji is necessary!
At a time when our communication is largely based on what we express through a keyboard (mobile or computer), we consider that the most important and transversal fight of all our societies, feminism (equality in rights between men and women), must have its own EMOJI.
At this time, using emojis, you can refer to other social movements or demands through emojis: gay pride flag, peace symbol, transgender flag, symbol in favor of recycling, different religions or beliefs... And we really love it! But the symbol that represents a fight that concerns us all, because it seeks equality, does not appear anywhere.
Nowadays, to refer to something so necessary, we only have the “purple heart” as an alternative.
That has to change as soon as possible!
And that is why we ask you to do your part by signing this petition and sending it to all the people in your social circle who believe that feminism should have a place in the symbols that appear on our mobile phones.
That is why we call on the Unicode Consortium, in charge of the character encoding standard for emoticons/emojis worldwide, to consider including the symbol of the feminist struggle among its options for future updates.
Together we will achieve it!
