The purpose of this petition is to empower the hardworking fans of their favorite artists to not accept the horrible customer service, product production, shipping, marketing failures and product inferiority from UMGs business model.

NOTHING WILL CHANGE WITHOUT EVERYONE HELPING. Making posts on Twitter isn’t enough. Signing the petition gets the information in people’s hands. It’s not about the petition, it’s about the valuable information in it. If push comes to shove and we are still ignored, all that have signed the petition will help us crate a class action lawsuit and change the industry standards of fan merchandise and shipping/customer service issues.

The more you share the petition, the more other Fan Bases that have to order merchandise from UMG regain their voices. By you signing and sharing the petition gets the word out that there are 2 people working their hardest to change these sleazy business practices and change them to benefit the fans. Isn’t that what merch is for? It’s for the fans.

As a consumer, we are begging you to use your power as a consumer and do the following:

a) Go on Twitter (or X) and tag UMG, your artist, the FTC, BBB and BuzzFeed, HuffPost, NYPost and whatever media outlet you can. Take pictures and document all conversations ignored by UMG, take pictures of your damaged items, everything! Even if it’s been sitting in FernJail. Show them the crap you’re getting. They know we are in a recession and people make themselves happy by purchasing merchandise, even though some of us are struggling. Instead of raising prices, how about they stop worrying about their bonuses and worry about the crap they send us.
b) do all the same on Reddit,Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and share it with the petition that has valuable information on how to take the consumer power back.
c) LEAVE REVIEWS on UMG In Nashville. leaving reviews on Ferndale does nothing. They are just. Warehouse UMG dumps packages on. When you leave a review on UMG Nashville, that is more powerful because they are erasing our reviews. Take a screenshot and again, repost on all social media.
d) use the 30 day demand letter that’s posted. Send it to UMG’s legal department. They can NOT blacklist you. They can not ban you for asking for your money back after waiting 3-4 months for a product to ship, past the date they promised.

Who profits off of the merch? Not us. We buy insanely expensive merch made overseas that then gets passed onto us with chemicals on wearable merchandise that smells horrific, is giving people serious allergic reactions, items broken, items so cheap they break or fall apart after a single use, products that arrived unfinished or obviously a reject that gets put in with the rest to push out products fast enough, they do not value our voices when we get these products destroyed either. We have to deal with two month long conversations with bots that still mess up and get lost at UMG, we are told items are supposed to ship by a certain date, and we never get them in time, in one piece or at all.
