There’s just one week to go until we hand in our petition on our Day of Action – Thursday 1 October! The current situation with Coronavirus means not many of us can be there on the day, but that doesn’t mean we can’t show our support for the farmers behind KitKat.
Can you put a message of support in your window this week? You can make your own poster, or just head to the Fairtrade Yorkshire website via the link below, download and print this one off to stick in your window, or anywhere else it might catch someone’s eye. There’s plenty of blank space for you to add your own artwork or comments.
You can use the same link to download the image to use as your Facebook cover, or to share on Twitter or Instagram.
Take me to the Fairtrade Yorkshire website
I’d love to see some of your messages too, so please put a snap or selfie with the poster on social media on Thursday 1 October if you can. Use the #IStandWithFarmers hashtag.
And look out for our video featuring a poem made up of some of your comments, read out by Fairtrade supporters from around the UK. Sharing the video will really help Nestle understand why it’s so important to us to stand with farmers.
Nearly 300,000 of us have signed this petition, so hopefully we’ll see messages of support for Fairtrade farmers popping up all over the UK.
Let's see the message #IStandWithFarmers trending on our Day of Action next Thursday (1 October) when I’m handing in the petition. That should help make sure Nestle really get the message.
I’ll send a quick note on the day as a reminder, and to let you know how it’s all going!
