Could have been so much worse

Last Sunday I was riding my bike, when I lost balance, swerved into the curb, and went flying off my bike. I landed hard on my head and left knee. Thank goodness I was wearing my helmet! Judging by the state of my knee, not sure my head would have survived. I was taken by ambulance to A&E where they decided I had too much of the road in my knee for them to clean out, so was admitted to have an operation the next day. I came home on Wednesday, having only just managed to hobble (with the use of a zimmer) that morning. It's good to be home, but the recovery is going to take a while. While on the road before being loaded into the ambulance, I saw 5 cyclists - none of whom had helmets on! Please keep sharing! #KeepYourHead
