As we approach the end of the year, we’re taking a moment to reflect — and to look ahead.
You are receiving this because you signed the Ending Lies in Politics petition. That campaign is led by Compassion in Politics, an organisation working to change the rules that allow dishonesty to thrive in public life.
Our politics still feels strained, divided, and too often disconnected from the truth and from people’s real needs. From party-gate to poverty statistics, the normalisation of lying has damaged trust in democracy. We believe it does not have to be this way — but change only comes if people like you help shape it.
Before we set our priorities for the year ahead, we want to hear directly from you. Your perspective matters. It helps guide our campaigns, sharpen our focus, and ensure our work stays rooted in the demand for honesty, accountability and care in politics.
We’ve put together a short eight-question survey. It takes only a few minutes and will help us understand what matters most to you, what you feel is missing from our politics, and where you think Compassion in Politics should focus its energy in 2026.
Will you share your thoughts with us today?
Your answers will help us campaign more effectively — including on the issue you signed the petition for — and ensure our work reflects the priorities of people who believe honesty in politics should be non-negotiable.
Thank you for standing with us, and for pushing for a political culture built on truth, dignity and care.
With appreciation,
Jennifer Nadel
