Thank you so much for signing the petition. 

You may have seen this already but your efforts have gained a good deal of media attention - in the Mirror, the i, and the Metro.

And one party - Plaid Cymru - has already come out in support of a bill to ban politicians from deliberately lying to the public. 

Pressure is building.

We are planning the hand-in of the petition to government.

Before then we want to get as many names on the petition as we can to ensure maximum impact. If you can, please help us spread the petition even further by sharing it with friends and family. Here is some suggested text for a tweet or facebook post:

A new proposal from @compinpolitics could ban politicians from deliberately lying to the public. The petition to make it happen already has over 185,000 signatures. Please add your name! change.org/LyingInPolitics

We will keep you updated with our plans for the hand-in and further campaigning to get this ban introduced.
