Heyyy everybody, today I can finally declare victory. Bleue is coming homeeeee and the happiness we are feeling is unreal. I just can’t stop smiling, thank you all for your support since we were thrown into what was a nightmare, your all amazing people and without the support I probably may have just given up. So today I attended Crown Court by myself which was supposed to be my Plea hearing, however after speaking with the barrister and the solicitors over the phone, I entered my plea, the court proposed a deal for me something I had to decide on very fast, plead guilty and have a contingent destruction order placed on Bleue, meaning he could come home on strict orders muzzled/lead at all times outside etc Or plead not Guilty and go to Trial and maybe lose the whole case and Bleue be put down and still be imposed with a harsh sentencing! After weighing up the pros and cons and what was of best interest for Bleues life and for us I entered a Guilty Plea, in all honesty I didn’t want to because I knew Bleue was innocent and I stand by that till I die and it burned my soul to plead guilty, but I had to take the chance and have faith, the prosecuting side had already stated that they didn’t want a destruction order placed upon Bleue and had put this forward to the judge! His life was deemed valuable! As I stood in front of the judge my heart racing, anxious I stated my plea and prayed to myself that it was all for the best what I had just done! I was then bailed to speak with probation and they proposed to the judge for sentencing that either I be placed on curfew, I do community service or just give me a conditional discharge! As the judge spoke to me and advised the kennel reports for Bleue which was given to the courts by the dog officer my eyes filled with tears, he was described as a lovely dog, no problems, I had been co operative and he wasn’t a danger to the public I was so proud of Bleue, he was true to himself and didn’t change even though he had been stripped away from us all so suddenly, the judge then placed a contingent destruction order on Bleue and advised he will be coming home to us, I couldn’t contain my excitement. The judge began sentencing for me, she ordered a year suspended sentence, with myself being placed on Tag on a curfew for the next 2 weeks, I didn’t even care that I was being tagged I didn’t care that I had just been fined £750 aswell! all I cared in that moment was that my beautiful Bleue was being returned home to us. That’s all that was important, his life had been spared I wanted to jump for joy. So After a long ass battle almost a year later from the date of when this all kicked off and Bleue was accused to him being seized and locked up, missing his 6th birthday, missing his cuddles, all the drama we had to endure with that nasty man, to now finally being able to say he is coming home is the best thing ever. He is coming to a brand new home, new surroundings, new start and we can love and cherish him as we always had done I can’t wait to see his beautiful face again. I will upload pics etc when he gets returned over the next few days but for now guys Thank you so much. I did it, I got him home and it feels sweet! Happy endings do happen! Peace and Light to you all xoxo
