Realising in these times that the idea that follows is premature and not urgent however if it isn’t started now many will quickly forget and these wonderful people must never be forgotten or taken for granted again.

We are talking about the Doctors, Nurses and Carers alike who are currently working tirelessly during this pandemic. We are starting this petition for them as we strongly believe and suggest that every single award in the New Years Honours list must go to acknowledge these inspirational people. They are working above and beyond, putting themselves at risk day after day working in many cases even longer hours than ever before and at the end of which having to sleep in hotels so as not to risk infecting their own families and loved ones. It is especially important to include honours posthumously to the incredibly brave Doctors and Nurses who gave their lives caring for others and who have sustained this country during these terrible times.

Not forgetting charity workers and fundraisers, like Captain Tom Moore for example who at almost 100years old exceeded all expectations by raising over £12m for the NHS.

This means no awards go to the usual Sports, Film or TV Personalities, 100% of the awards must go to these incredibly selfless people.
