The following figures are estimates, they are used just to prove a rough point.

Two people do the same job for the same hourly rate, both work the same hours, both are paid £30'000 pa. Person A has two children, whilst Person B has no children. After contributions from his wages Person B will take home approx £26'000 per year, whilst Person A will take home about £37'000 per year due to all the universal credits for having children that they get. (and that not included the money they get for child care costs). Almost a £9000 difference in income levels for two people doing the same job, is this fair? To make things more unfair the person with the lower pay will contribute more into the state per year than the person on the higher income. This is how the UK society has a bias towards household with children. This is not fair, two people doing the same job should have the same income levels or this is discrimination against individuals without children,
