I have been in touch with some of the people who have received removal notices for Wednesday's deportation flight and their families who had to flee for their safety from Zimbabwe¹ include many who came to the UK  as children. Most of those I have spoken to told me that all of their family are British , parents and siblings, partners and their own children. They have nobody in Zimbabwe  and their home of many years is the UK. Some of them have caring responsibilities   elderly or disabled relatives. 

A copy of an agreement between the UK and Zimbabwe government in relation to the planned deportations has been brought to my attention which demonstrates that the UK government are not taking covid safety seriously, already there is a covid outbreak in one detention  centre. Covid levels are extremely  high in Zimbabwe and there is a complete lockdown in the country.

Ask them to #stoptheplane as people will be in grave danger if deported of both persecution and coronavirus.
