Demand the UK Government to Condemn Israel's Actions and Facilitate Peace Talks

The Issue

As a human, a Muslim, and a mother, I am deeply concerned about the warcrimes committed against Gaza. The pain of innocent civilian casualties on both sides is heart-wrenching. For over 75 years, Palestine has been under illegal occupation; an issue that resonates with me personally and millions globally.

The UK government's alliance with Israel raises serious ethical questions. They have endorsed actions that have led to the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza, including collective punishment through food and water blockades, humanitarian aid blockades and now a full scale Genocide of 1.1 million Palestinians with no where to go as declared by the UN. Where can they go when the borders have been closed off, the airspace & sea is controlled by zionist israel. Such actions contravene international law. Despite these clear violations, the UK has failed to condemn Israel's actions.

Moreover, attempts by the UK government to criminalise freedom of speech/expression demonstrates a clear bias towards pro Palestinian supporters.

Under the ECHR we should be able to freely express our emotions and political views regarding the illegal occupation and ongoing war crimes against Palestinians without fear or threat of arrest/imprisonment.

It is time for change. We call upon the UK government not only to condemn these human rights violations but also actively support and facilitate genuine peace talks between Palestine and Israel.

We believe in global peace, health & safety for all people regardless of their race or religion - values that should be upheld by our leaders too.

Please sign this petition if you believe in justice for all humans irrespective of their nationality or faith. Let us hold our leaders accountable for their alliances and demand they take action towards facilitating peace talks now!
