Hello!
Thank you for supporting the IC Change campaign and signing our petition to help end violence against women.
8 June 2022 marks ten years since the UK Government first committed to the Istanbul Convention. But sadly, in ten years we haven't seen enough progress. The Government have delayed ratifying the Convention, which means it isn’t legally binding and more women are being left at risk.
We’re tired of excuses and inaction. On 8 June we’re demanding action from the Government. Will you join us?
Take 2 minutes to invite your MP to our Parliamentary Photocall on 8 June to show their support and call for the Convention to be ratified.
The more people who contact their MP, the more chance we have of the Government taking this critical step to tackle violence against women and girls.
In the last ten years, over 1220 women were murdered by men. The impact of the pandemic has put more women at risk. Services are at breaking point and we have a failing criminal justice system.
Join us in calling for change. Use our email template to ask your MP to attend our event: www.icchange.co.uk/10YearsOverdue
Thank you for your ongoing support. Together we can help create a safer world for all women and girls.
