Heeeeello ICchangers!!! Monday 8 June will be the three year anniversary of the UK signing the Istanbul Convention on violence against women in 2012. Since 8 June 2012, while the UK Government have been sluggish about protecting women's lives and making the Istanbul Convention law, approximately 255,000 women have been raped and around 312 murdered by a partner or former partner - and that is just in England and Wales. This has to change. And it can - if we raise our voices and put public pressure on the politicians who have the power to change this. Will you raise your voice and make noise with us about this on Monday? We're going to be hosting an the online conversation on Monday 8 June from 12.30 - 1.30pm and we would love you to be part of it! By all speaking out together we can raise awareness about the Istanbul Convention and the UK Government’s delay in ratifying it, whilst also building support for the campaign.
