A few weeks ago we launched our new film about the reality of the cost of living crisis, and the urgent need for free school meals. If you haven’t watched it yet, I’d love for you to check it out now.

It’s been clear from the amazing reaction to our film that so many people across the UK can relate to our stories and want to see a change — like this commenter on Instagram “I have 2 pupils in my class whose parents are literally both 50p over the threshold to qualify for free school meals. The thresholds need to change as the cost of living increases. It's not just about those parents on benefits but also about those who are in work and barely getting by too.”

Our film has been watched over 760,000 times and shared by the likes of Jamie Oliver, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, foodie Thomasina Miers, Which UK, Food For Life and many, many more. And the best part? We’ve hit an incredible 219,000 signatures on our petition calling on the Prime Minister to take urgent action.
