There is a great petition here I'd love for you to look at - which calls for people to be saved not airlines. Airlines are asking for taxpayer support to survive the coronavirus pandemic, while claiming tax exemptions, paying shareholders millions in dividends and refusing to commit to emission reductions targets.

Public money must not enable high emitter private companies to return to business as usual after this crisis,  unaccountable to the government's own climate change mitigation targets.

We need to draw a red line on this greedy crisis capitalism and stop the government's plans to buy into airlines and save these high emission highly profitable private businesses who continue to deny accountability to the government's own climate change mitigation targets.
