...of complete failure by 2030!

Don't worry everyone the DVSA has plans to clear the backlog, apparently its going to "improve services for customers" by 2030!

Not only that, Lovejoy , DVSA Chief Executive, said:

"Whatever your stake in DVSA, we want to set out what the DVSA plans to achieve on behalf of our customers and stakeholders. That’s whether you work for us or in partnership with us, or you are responsible for holding us to account"

As we ADIs and Lovejoy well knows, no-one holds the DVSA to account as their latest sham consultation proves.

"DVSA are concerned that more than half of pupils are not ready to take their test or drive safely and responsibly on their own."

Yes this must come as a real shock to them, after all its not as if they've manipulated the pass rate to remain at around 45% for years and years.

Now due to their own mis-management of the waiting times it's suddenly the fault of ADIs.

And what does everyone think will happen if the pass rate does go magically up to say 90%? They'll suddenly start crying that the test is too easy!

NASP as usual have little to say about this or the Standards Proposals, no doubt yet again they're busy consulting away in the background as always. Its a shame nothing ever seems to come from all this consulting. So if you're feeling the pinch with the cost of living increases, why not save yourself in the region of £80 a year and cancel your membership if you're a member of any of the NASP organisations.

We'll also be publishing a list of the companies that support NASP by advertising with them soon, so you can decide if you want to continue to support people that aren't representing us.

Please continue to share this petition so the industry can be reformed and run by a professional regulator where Instructors are properly consulted.
