NASP claiming they didn't rubber stamp anything....

Mike SmithBirmingham, United Kingdom

Well we all know that's the case, after all according to last weeks press release they were "being ignored". I doubt the DVSA would trust them with a broken crayon never mind a rubber stamp.

Still the changes are all good news for the members of "your trade association" as in what we are sure can only be a massive coincidence, they've already started advertising Standards Check Training Courses, and we hear rumours mock tests will soon be offered in an effort to get more money out of  ADIs.

Out of interest does anyone remember during lockdown when all the NASP associations suspended membership fees to help out struggling ADIs? No - Thought not...….. That's because despite telling us how they're always working away to support ADIs none of them did.

If you were gullible enough to have joined one of the NASP organisations on the top package they have a special offer where you can by Driving The Essential Skills for only £1.50 more than you can buy it on Amazon! - Bargain where do we sign up?

In other news NASP have a Mass COVID spreading event scheduled for October that we've mentioned before, and now it's been announced Lovejoy has left her conservatory and is attending along with Eric and Tinker. Wouldn't it be a shame if they were boo'd off the stage?

Surely if NASP is "being ignored" then it should stop offering free publicity to the DVSA and republishing its constant email announcements. Why not save yourself £75 a year and just sign up for the DVSAs email alerts here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/dvsa-email-alerts

Is it "our" trade association or the DVSAs? I think we all know the answer to that one. To coin a phrase you just have to "follow the money!"

Please continue to sign and share the petition to your colleagues so that we can have a full independent enquiry into the DVSA and proper representation and regulation for the industry in its replacement organisation.
