It's been well over a year since I started this petition, and I am incredibly amazed at how much progress we have accomplished up to now. We now have 2,200 supporters, which means we are 7,800 signatures off getting a direct official government response. This, however, does not mean victory. We are well away from banning homework, and it will take some time. Actually, I probably won't even be in school anymore. So what? Once I leave school, there will be more children getting homework than ever before, oh and 'coincidently', the depression rate is also going to increase, but that's just my opinion. The truth is, as long as this petition is still going and gathering attention along with new supporters, we have a chance of catching the supreme authority's attention - which is arguably the first step in petitioning against the use of homework.

Therefore, I am going to ask you again to share this petition with as many people as you can. We NEED more supporters. If you do that, then we WILL see hundreds of more people signing. Towards the end of January, a highly social individual shared this petition on her social media accounts, which lead to her followers signing and reposting it, which lead to their followers signing and reposting, which then lead to their followers signing and reposting - and so on. This chain of reposts and signatures added 326 supporters on just that day alone and added a further 173 on the next day. This has caused such an explosion on this petition that I cannot thank for enough. We have raced past the 1,500 point and we are on our way to hitting 2,500 soon, so keep sharing and letting your friends know about this petition because we are in a really good position and we cannot back down.

Thanks for your continued support
