NOVEMBER 2017 - CRIMINAL CHARGES TO CONTINUE AGAINST UGU

There are still many areas without water, this a continuation of what started up again back in September 2017, the Sanlam extortion by UGU employees for refunds not due to them and SAMWU instigation for them to keep going , is now met by very angry residents, who are no longer prepared to take this lying down, a weapon has been discovered by these workers, which is very effective and debilitating for the south coast residents and the lower south coast tourism and economy... a weapon they will use again...the deliberate illegal strikes of essential workers and the sabotage and vandalism of the water plants, has caused a major crash in the water supply system, which is battling to regain its full reservoirs. UGU had got the Provincial MEC's involved and more than a week after negotiation with workers to return to work, the crash continues and reservoirs remain below 10% full, areas like Margate extension 3 and Ramsgate as well as Murchison and a few others remain around 0%-5% and what angers residents more is that UGU agreed.... again... to give in to extortion demands for water supply to be restored! UGU MASS LAWSUIT has decided to continue with its plans to lay criminal charges as a mass submission, on behalf of all our petitioners, against the criminals that vandalize and sabotaged the system over a full year and held the South Coast residents and its tourists for ransom on their human right to water, to blackmail the municipality to give in to their demands, before they will return to work and stop sabotaging the pipelines and re- open valves! Before Residents can take part in this criminal action mass submission, they need to become a UGU MASS LAWSUIT petitioner and must sign up and pledge that later they will contribute a R100, for the civil suit that will follow next year against UGU , for its complete mismanagement.
