Assassins Creed games have almost always had single handed swords. With newest installation of the franchise single handed swords should be a given. They were one of the most common weapons during the Viking Age and stood for a Vikings wealth, fame, or battles fought. After all the Ulfberht sword was a single handed sword made for only the most elite. So why was the player raided from the opportunity to use such a fine and important weapon from this era? This could be a simple but very needed change. It would make the new dual wielding feature come full circle! Making the player truly able to live out their Viking fantasy with raiding in any way they’d enjoy or see fit!
