We, the people of Australia, demand decent work for all Uber Drivers. A fair day's pay for a fair day's work. You must respect our people and our culture. Everyone in Australia must be guaranteed safety and security at work.

We demand you guarantee that no Uber Driver will be worse off than Australia's long established minimum standards for Passenger Vehicle drivers:

1. Guaranteed pay for all hours worked.
2. Guaranteed rates, no lower than Australian standards.
3. Workcover insurance - just like other workers!
4. Superannuation Guarantee - just like other workers!

Why this matters to me...

I am an Uber Driver in Australia and I desperately need help.

The cost of living crisis is affecting everyone. Car prices, tyres and maintenance have gone up massively. My vehicle insurance risen more than 300% in just a few years.

Uber have just cut my pay rates.

I cannot discuss this pay cut with Uber. They have no office, and no person to talk to. They closed every "Greenlight hub" during COVID, and never reopened them in Australia. Their offshore call centre have no say in my rates.

Uber Australia "consolidated revenue" = $3,293,418,000 last year.
Up over 24% from a massive $2.6 billion in 2022.

As a rideshare driver, I often earn less than Minimum Wage, after costs. My fellow drivers are being forced to work longer hours, taking more risks on the road, just to make ends meet. It must stop.
