The Counter-Letter is Working!

Hello Everyone, We are at 130 signatures, and there are no signs of slowing down! In more good news, about ten of those who signed the UBC Accountable open letter have taken their names off the list. I took a screenshot of the signature list when I started the petition. I have a screenshot below, although it might be cut off at the bottom, but at last you get an idea of what's happening. There's a few new names, but there are more gone than are added. I'm so happy about those who have listened to what we and others are saying and have removed their names. Tomorrow I'll try to contact UBC Accountable and see if I can talk with Joseph Boyden about withdrawing the letter, and I'll make that press release. For now, I just want to say thank you for signing and for sharing. We are supporting women who have spoken out, and are serving notice to the Canadian literature communities that it is not okay to silence women and make them invisible, not now, and not ever.
