Florida lawmaker seeks tax exemption for tampons

State Rep. Katie Edwards, D-Plantation, has proposed a bill that would exempt "feminine hygiene products" from taxes. The bill, HB 63, first has to define what feminine hygiene products are: Feminine hygiene products.-The sale of a feminine hygiene product is exempt from the tax imposed by this chapter.
