The mistakes of spending almost a trillion dollars of U.S. tax dollars in Afghanistan cannot be repeated. We must learn from the past.

Peace is coming to Syria; and reconstruction will soon begin for the nation, the region and for the thousands of Christians and those of other faiths. To fund the rebuilding efforts, if it’s business as usual, the international community, the United Nations and thousands of Non Government Organizations (NGOs) will come forward, most likely led by the United States of America.

But WAIT. That formula doesn’t work. It needs to STOP.

Don’t you believe the nation-building and especially the community reconstruction should be different this time? Starting with who picks up the tab? It should be paid for by those who caused the destruction and those who perpetuated or funded the genocides. Doing it this way is not just a great concept, but a proven methodology.

Just remember back to the success of Task Force 2010 in Afghanistan! This same model just needs to be used over and over in recovering black monies from wartime entrepreneurs and gatekeepers. Then such funds should be used for the rebuilding of lives, communities and countries.

Sign this petition and send a message strongly to the sponsors of terrorism, to those in power and to the courts that you agree: that it is time to hold those who fund terrorism accountable for damage they’ve caused and make them pay!
