In under 24 hours we have 13,542 signatures. I appreciate your help. The response has been phenomenal. Let's keep this momentum growing. My plan is to let this run for two weeks and then try to coordinate the delivery with the Truth March. I am afraid I was a bit naive when I started this and thought I would be able to upload the signatures to the government offices. Apparently that is not how it works. I will need to have this professionally printed and then get a flight to DC and a hotel. I am going to contact Senator Durbin's office for guidance on what their schedule is and how I might arrange a meeting. He has always been extremely supportive of his constituency so I look forward to talking to them. Once I have a better idea of what will be involved I will be opening a fundraiser to help defer some of this unexpected cost.
