My family visited the prison recently, and this time they were able to meet my mom. They were truly happy to see her. My mom explained to them why she had been denied visits in the previous months: One night after returning from the camp factory, she spoke in the hallway to other prisoners incarcerated in cells there. She told them that her spiritual belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance was strong. The prison authorities deemed this a violation of rules, so they deprived the family of visitation rights as punishment.

Despite all these ups and downs, my mom keeps positive thinking and remains hopeful. Seeing her doing well reassured the family that more positive news would follow in the coming new year.
