U.S. Ratify the Declaration of the Rights of the Child

The Issue

The United States is the ONLY country in the United Nations that has not ratified the "Rights of the Child" even though the Bush and Reagan administrations helped to craft it and Obama spoke in support of its passage. Doing so would not be an assault on our sovereignty.

As a result here in the United States children's rights are approached "willy-nilly" based upon what agency or court judge for the day perceives their rights to be leaving room for unjust discrimination and bias through unclear policies or opinion. This occurs daily in both criminal courts and in family courts throughout the U.S.  Lacking established rights also affects the schools leaving the child vulnerable to any imposition schools may improperly decide to enforce. Having recognized rights is a Human Right!
Our humanity cannot advance unless we are willing to advance the quality of life empowered by actual recognized children's rights.

To protect our children we ask the President of the United States to send the Declaration of the Rights of the Child to the U.S. Senate for consent and approval. PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO:
