During this urgent time in the United States and around the world I am requesting the establishment of the United States Civilian Corps.  The concept of a Civilian Corps would have ordinary citizens like myself put to work making ppe equipment and ventilators that are urgently needed.  I believe that if properly trained in a span of 2-4 weeks myself and millions of Americans who are in need of work can get to work making the important equipment our hospitals need.  The issue here is cutting through government red tape and I believe that can be done if this legislative proposal of mine could be passed by the United States House and Senate.

Details of the civilian corps:

Employs Americans currently furloughed, out of work, unemployed, or seeking employment putting them to work in various capacities building materials, tools, and equipment that healthcare providers need.  The civilian corps may work in tandem with the military, corporations, engineers, and health care professionals training civilians and preparing them to work quickly, safely, and efficiently to build and provide life saving equipment that doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals can utilize to save lives.  Considering the COVID19 virus is spreading rapidly the best action the government can take now to save lives and preserve the economy while also providing jobs to millions of Americans is to establish the United States Civilian Corps, the USCC.  Please help me by taking action and signing my petition.
