They protect everyone except the residents. The only camera in the entire world that everyone worries about is the one camera that is going to be pointed at one resident in a long term care facility that only one person will view the video, and not even the facility can view the video without permission from the person responsible for putting in the camera.  The worry about one person who can't tell us what is happening.  The video can't be put on or streamed on social media. They worry about the privacy rights of everyone except the residents and put that over neglect, abuse, rape and murder. The most ridiculous reasons not to have a camera come from the Heath Care Association.
