Pike County sits among the rolling hills of the northern edge of Appalachia, with beautiful streams, abundant wildlife, and a community of charismatic and proud people. Our community is in danger. The Department of Energy plans on installing a nuclear waste dump in our county. 

The citizens of Pike County, Ohio and surrounding areas DO NOT want a nuclear waste dump (Onsite Waste Disposal Cell) in our community.  The designated area is not suitable for a nuclear dump, and DOE has been given waivers for federal regulations that are in place to protect communities.

A nuclear dump will not only bring ZERO positive changes for our community, but will negatively impact property values, the environment, and our people. 

NO NUCLEAR DUMP IN PIKE COUNTY!
