The world is going to end if we don't do something about it. We caused global warming through our inventions : cars, trains , plastic, factory, and etc. Global warming causes the polar ice caps to melt. 2,921 trillion pounds (1,325 trillion kilograms) of ice per year in 2003 to 2008 through basal melt, while iceberg formation accounted for 2,400 trillion pounds (1,089 trillion kilograms) of mass loss each year. This will eventually make our coastline cities to flood which causes destroying lifetimes of hard work that people have contributed to these cities. Global sea level rose about 17 centimeters (6.7 inches) in the last century. The rate in the last decade, however, is nearly double that of the last century.The oceans have absorbed much of this increased heat, with the top 700 meters (about 2,300 feet) of ocean showing warming of 0.302 degrees Fahrenheit since 1969. Greenhouse gases could also cause cancer as well as help global warming. Best case scenario is that the Government allows this to pass and global warming stops decreasing at such fast rates. Worst case scenario is that people ignore this and the government doesn't pass this act and the future of humankind will die due to flooding of cities and greenhouse gases that cause cancer. If it does pass we can have a safer place for all of humankind.
