Help put a stop to animal cruelty and make bestiality illegal in all states. Zoophilia or Bestiality is perfectly legal in these states; Alabama, Arkansas, Hawaii, Kentucky, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming. This is a huge problem because bestiality is sexual molestation of an animal and that is animal abuse. Animals can not give consent, it is taking advantage and inflicting pain on another living creature for the abusers benefit. Sexual molestation of animals by humans may physically injure or kill the animal victim. There are cases of dogs with severe rectal tearing from anal sexual contact and cats killed by penetration by a human male. There are also chickens decapitated to increase the abuser’s sexual pleasure, animals beaten stabbed, or mutilated during or after sexual contact; and animals crushed for sexual gratification have been reported. There are no statistics to tell us how many animals currently are being sexually abused. But there are studies to connect the sexual abuse of animals to psychological distress, meaning the individual either has already been a victim of violence or might be predisposed to committing acts of violence. A study done by the FBI revealed that up to 37% of sexually violent juvenile offenders had a history of animal sexual assault. A 2002 study found that 96% of juveniles who engaged in sex with animals also admitted to sex offenses against people and reported more offenses against people than other sex offenders their same age and race. Remember, it is NOT someones sexual "private" choice or preference because unlike sexual activities between consenting humans, animal sexual abuse is not about an individual’s private sexual choice. As in the case of child sexual abuse and adult rape, animal sexual abuse is one party has no choice and cannot consent or refuse. It is WRONG to inflict suffering to any living creatures. Do not let this continue to happen and stop encouraging rape to animals and people.
