Have 4,861 but need so many more. Please I am begging you to please share this any way you know how to try to get supporters. The animals need all of us. Isn't it bad enough when someone destroys their own life without destroying someone else? Being 46 and 38 yrs old, they should know what is right and what is wrong. There is no excuse for what they did. First off I would like to know what they were doing with a puppy only weeks old, like why did they have him. What were their intentions with this puppy and a couple more questions I could ask. To me I take this as they only got this puppy to overdose and to leave to die. If that is not what they had intended to do, why was this little fellow left in the floor board of a pickup truck and overdosed on heroin. If the police did not hear the dog and if they did not find the drugs, this little fellow would most likely not be here today. Then when you read story, they have not charged them with any harm to this puppy. They do say animal abuse charges will likely be added. It should not be any question here about if they should or not be charged. It is suppose to be a crime so why not make people pay when they abuse these animals. They should had been charged right at the beginning with charges pending on if the puppy made it or not. Nothing against the employees who do their job, but way too many animals are being abused and/or killed every day and it has to be STOPPED! So many animals are abused then put in kill shelters and they are put on DEATH ROW for nothing they have done. The punishment should be against the criminals not the animals.
